Hi webmasters,

How do you guys check ranking for particular keyword on google. I do check it manually so i need to know is there any free tool which shows for which particular keywords are website rank?

We only use Rank Tracker by the Link Assistant team, that's by far the best and most accurate. There's a free version, but you won't be able to save projects I'm afraid.

Google in Incognito window. Tools can sometimes show different rankings depending on the location. I also use SeoMoz pro for maintaining ranking reports.

Currently You are doing right. Only manual checking can give you perfect ranking of your site for any particular keywords.

Manual checking can be good too but I like Microsite Masters because it allows you to track multiple projects with ease. It enables to easily track and access the ranking results for each keywords and sites on Google, Bing and Yahoo. I find it more reliable and precise than any other tools.

its weird because one of my new sites is ranking #97 according to whatsmyserp.com, but when i look it up manually i cannot find it at all... :s

I still do some manual checking because as jacksarloks says tools aren't always (never are) accurate.
