Question regarding tiered backlink strategy

I created a tier 1 web 2.0 property at weebly PC Cleaning - 1st Compucare | IT Cleaning | Data Centre Cleaning | Telephone Cleaning

I then went on fiver and bought 100 Oneway LINKS from PR8 to PR2 for $5, I directed them to my tier 1 web 2.0 that pointed to my money site I wanted to rank for.

It seemed to work over night and my SERP boosted from page 3 to page 1.

Do you think it is safe to follow this method again?

The reason I want to do this again is to get the number 1 spot, should I wait sometime before I do this?

    No I have a number of other web 2.0 properties that I linked to with unique article wizard... is unique article wizard any good I'm thinking of swithching too GSA web submitter and ultimate demon instead... If I cancelled my UAW subscription... would i lose all my articles i posted with UAW... I'll stick with UAW if it's better..

    I just don't get tiered backlinking. Its bad enough creating a brand new web 2.0 article and then to spam it with profile, blog comments etc. Is it not better to get a guest blog from an established site? Quality of link will always trump quantity of link.

    Yes its safe link building method and from the results you have achieved, I have to agree it is quite effective too. So you can continue building links in the similar fashion for your other targeted keywords also.

    For more competitive keywords, you can build more web 2.0 properties and proceed with similar way. And let us inform if the method is still effective.

    I compare this type of backlinking to building a house of cards. You can spend alot of time doing it and it can have good results, but one wrong move or someone comes along and reports your site and it's all gone!

    I prefer the getting really good content on strong reliable sites. You will get much further with this method in the long run. I know it does not seem as appealing but you'll be much better off. (I had to learn the hard way !)
