Advice for quick-starter SEO

Hi guys,

I want some input and advice how to build backlinks quickly and efficiently. The website is PR4 with thousands of unique articles. Some of the articles rank automatically because of the page authority, but not necessarily in top 5 in the SERPs.

My goal: quickly boost these articles in ranks for relatively easy-to-rank keywords (about 100-1000 searches/month), with few/no competitors that really specialize on those keywords. There are thousands of articles on the website that could be boosted for thousands of keywords with little competition, it's about growing by quantity through quality content.

My question: how do I achieve this goal step by step, as quickly and efficiently as possible? Let's say that I will start out with promoting about 35 keywords. Which exact sites do I build backlinks on? In which order? What type of sites? Social bookmarking? Whats the best and fastest way to quickly boost these keywords in rank?

Thank you in advance!

Indeed. Link building now is more of a relationship building effort. The same way that building links through commenting is now comment marketing.

You could always pay someone to build high quality links to these articles, or you could buy a bunch of ppc ads. If you spend enough money you will be able to get traffic to these articles. The best way in my opinion is to do it through SEO which takes time it is not something you can do in a day and forget about it is a process that CANNOT be rushed.

Promoting 35 keywords at an instant looks like SPAM for Google or Bing.

Select 2 or 3 related keyword articles written and from these three make an awesome instructional or guiding or engaging article. Now request an authority blogger for consideration of guest post. Make sure, he/she do agrees for at-least 1-3 reciprocal link(do-follow) to your site as related links.

This could be pretty benefit for long term, which send good traffic and get's you good authority ranking.

Here, you can see how a fellow warrior benefited through guest blogging.

    Advantage of guest posting!

Go for article submission, it seems to be not bad. Only choose for high ranked and credited websites.

    high ranked article directory:-

    1)webreference.com -PR7
    2)webpronews.com -PR6
    3)thewhir.com -PR6
    4)selfgrowth.com -PR6
    5)marketingprofs.com -PR6
    6)ezinearticles.com -PR6
    7)Developershed.com -PR6

These are some good top ranked & credited article directories.

    For the rest of keywords,

    You can......

1)Create simple slide videos & share it to YouTube.
2)Create podcast's and share it to podcast directories.
3)Create slide and presentation & share it in slide & presentation websites.
    4)Create e-book & share it to e-book directories.
    5)Create info-graphic & share it to info-graphic directories.
6)Create whitepaper & share it to white paper directories.

Since, you have 1000+ articles. Now take some time, usually 4-20 weeks and implement all these. You can have long term benefit for both traffic & rank.

    Hi wellspear,

Regarding your question our fellow warriors have given you some useful tips on how to do that.

There are many strategies that are currently being practiced by all..

My opinion, for the first month don't go too aggressive with your link building..The best way to promote your site is to engage your targeted audience at forum, active fb fanpage or active related sites ( hi PR of course) . Find where you audience live online...

After few weeks, track your keyword ranking movement..and you can proceed with any submission tool you like to make backlinks whther social bookmarks, blog 2.0 etc...

The possible problem is the 'quickly' factor. Overall it seems you're in a hurry amigo, no can do. Think months and years of what those links you're going to built will mean to Google now and 6-12 months from now. At least, make proper conclusions whether the links will potential look spammy to Google in a few months from now (and as u may know changes veryyy quickly) and built your plan from there.

Whats the best and fastest way to quickly boost these keywords in rank?
A boost can be done, but usually the rankings fall if no proper maintenance is done on a consistent basis. Surely can be done, but again, don't think fastest way for SEO as that's when it might bite you in the next algo update.
