I like to keep my website up to date and fresh with a weekly blog entry, but the problem is that after almost a year i'm really running out of things to write.

I'm always reading posts on here about software writing content for you, but i've always been reluctant to use software as I'm pretty convinced using it will ruin any SEO i've tried to do on my website, or am I wrong?

But anyway, is there any easier way to make content for articles?

I suggest you start recycling your old posts but add a twist or new perspective. Believe it or not mastering the software to create quality content is probably more effort than using your own brain.

I would say any page you create, create based on low competitive keywords, do on-page optimization perfectly and keep checking ranking of them, if they are not ranking good then try to ask why it is not ranking, if there is anything to improve, improve it.

Adding unique and quality content is always important. Having original content that are valuable to human visitors is one of Google’s concerns. If you’re running out of ideas on what to write, either you do a research for anything that interests you or you can ask or hire someone who can do it for you.

Check your competitors blog what they have written in the past and try to make it same but not exact but different as you can do.
