I've been doing SEO for many years and this baffles the hell out of me, maybe someone smarter than I will know what's happening.

I get a lot of traffic and pages rank well in Google searches but for some odd reason my blog pages such as this are not being indexed and don't even show up in my Google Analytics.

Can someone help me figure this out?
  1. GA code is install properly
  2. checked robots.txt and it's not blocking pages
  3. pages are listed in sitemap
  4. Also all pages on site link to this section
  5. original content (copyscape tested)

Please let me know if someone you might know what the issue is.

From the info you have given and looking at the source code of the specific blog page you have given, it appears to me that there is a lot of javascript on the page. That in itself is not a problem.

But the Google Analytics tracking code is also javascript and the trackpageview function has to fire for a page to load.

Google strongly recommends to place the Google Analytics Tracking Code (GATC) between the <head> and </head> tags. On the blog page you have referenced, the GATC is right at the bottom of the page.

The excessive amount of javascript can hinder the GATC javascript tracking and prevent it from working properly. Try switching the position of the GATC and see if you can see the content in your Analytics.

You could maybe create a hubpage or squidoo lens or even a blogspot on Canada Dentists and write a blog post from which you contextually link to this specific blog page. Make sure your Web 2.0 property is indexed by Google. If there is a decent backlink to this problem blog page on your site, there is a chance the spiders will follow it and index it.

I am not sure what CMS you are using. I could not see any mention of the robots tag in the page source code. Please check to make sure you are not using robots=noindex nofollow tag. Hope this helps.

Thanks Raviv, I will try moving the GATC to the header to see if the tracking for the pages is working.

It's a custom built system. I have 88,800 pages indexed 1000 daily visitors and almost all pages link directly to the latest 3 articles, that's should be way more than enough to get it indexed. I will try sending external links to the pages directly.
