Adsense, but keep in mind that it's always a good idea to have an alternative. Sometimes advertisers will stop their campaigns and you will notice much less income from adsense. This is when you'd be great off if you diversified with chitika.

I was never a blonde (no offense to blondes

) & would never take that bait.

I don't reveal my money sources for anyone (especially on an IM forum), besides why should individuals be pampered, it wouldn't help the average publisher.

I did my testing, what's done is done & I know what works. There's nothing magical about copying/pasting affiliate code on to a web page, If Adsense converts so should Chitika, but that's not the case from my own experience. I'll stick with Adsense.

that say...? Don't believe BS from people.

Why would you trust anyone except google for advice on running
ads from other companies?

Seriously, don't you people read anything from google? First you
people go gaga over having too many ads, above the fold, etc.,
then you want to swallow lines about cramming even more ads
on your page?

There is a whole lot more the the statement,
"Did you know you can run both Adsense and Chitika Ads at the same time? Happy Earning!!"

A fool and his adsense are soon parted.

Okay, let me spell out exactly why chitika and other ad servers are problems.
Perhaps, just perhaps they serve an ad that is for a site that violates google
terms. Any terms. Now you ARE in violation of adsense.

File that tidbit away for future reference.

Paul- Chitika is not slumming at all, on the contrary, we are being proactive in the community. We are engaged, in all aspects and will remain that way.

Problogger recently blogged about his success in a post on 5/9 "12 Blogging Income Streams" where he quotes:

"At the time, AdSense was my #1 source of income but putting Chitika on my site almost doubled that income overnight and allowed me to go full time as a blogger!"

I notice you did not address the fact that chitika on the
same site with adsense is just that. Dumb.

Proactive in the community? What community? Of the
community of those who were banned from adsense? I'd
say google is billion$ more active in the "real" community,
providing everything from in-person seminars to online
help guides, and everything in between.

They don't need to come to the WF begging for crumbs...

that.

No offense at all and I certainly would never ask you to reveal your money sources. What I am saying is send us an email and we will look into the best optimization of our ads on your website. Chitika's ads have a special sauce that need to be applied and is not like your typical ad code.

There are some publishers that claim using a combination of the two works well. Maybe something you want to look into.

Just want to point out a few things here.

1. When is the last time that you saw a Google Adsense employee posting on the forum? One of the major advantages that smaller companies (small as in smaller than Google) is that they often have much better support than the larger companies.

2. Do you have a backup revenue stream for Adsense? Over the past year, many thousands of site owners have received the emails notifying them that their Adsense account has been closed, which means that in the blink of an eye, they were out of business.

3. As a publisher, don't you feel that owe it to yourself to at least compare the payouts of different networks? I know I do, because I own multiple websites and make over $100 a day via Adsense, so if another network contacts me, which has happened from time to time, saying that they can increase my payouts, I have always felt like it is at least worth testing.

4. Adsense is not always the highest paying revenue stream. Many times, affiliate marketing and other networks such as Chitika and/or Media.net could pay 5/10/20% more per click than Adsense is paying. You would never know until you talk to them and ask the right questions.

Great Response! We are smaller (than AdSense) and have the ability to help do whatever we can to help optimize and make our publishers money. I am by no means saying "drop AdSense" what I am saying is its worth a try to join Chitika!

That's just something people say that have been banned.

Personally I don't find it difficult to keep an Adsense account (6 years now), matter of fact a person would have to try to get banned based on my own experience. By trying to get banned I mean things like:
- Not reading the TOS a person already agreed to.
- Not understanding that the TOS aren't playing games.
I'm glad Adsense has a built in quality control, it keeps most of the scammers out of the network (both Adwords & Adsense).

Only one answer, adsense is the best.
Chitika publish with a small blogs without good content, so as advertiser you get a poor clicks, but Adsense are very strict about publishing your ads.
