Where to check if an article is unique?

Which online tool do you guys use to check the uniqueness of an article? I have been using copyscape.com, but it is not possible to find out if an article was rewritten or spun.

Do you know any tool that can also check if my article is rewritten or spun? One time I had a rewritten article (I didn't know that it was rewritten) and copyscape said it was 100% unique, but later my domain was banned because the article was rewritten.

        Just because something passes Copyscape, doesn't mean crap.

        Post a paragraph of the content in the Google search bar and see what comes up.

          I think this Copyscape thing has been explained in at least one other forum thread (maybe 100 threads, lol).

      I'm not sure - so maybe my website was banned for something else.
