Where should my Comment Backlinks Point to?

I would usually bet that I will have to diversify and point to content pages as well as the homepage, but when I tried to link to comment on a PR4 page with a backlink to a content page, it told me that it triggered some spam filter and stuff like that so they couldn't post the comment.

I removed the page's specific URL and pointed only to the homepage and it didn't trigger the spam filter. This made me think about my general backlink strategy.

#backlinks #comment #point

Did you happen to link to that page previously? Perhaps you triggered a spam filter on that URL with a previous comment?

I've done 5 backlinks in my whole life and I haven't visited the page before. This made it all the more strange

  Thanks

Have you tried commenting on any other blogs and pointing to the same URL?

  Thanks

The website probably uses a filter to prevent deep linking URL's. That would be my first guess.

This is not normal. Do you have a similar experience with other blogs too? Your blog could have been marked as spammed, but I am pretty sure that the problem is TEMPORARILY!
