Adsense earnng is not as expected.

Hi All,

I have integrated my forum with adsense. Though the traffic on my forum is good and total number of views of the ad is also good but the click are very rare. What should I do so that more users could be attracted through the ad.

    How much traffic you are getting really? If your traffic is low, your adsense is not likely to perform well. Also, you can change the placement to observe the performance. Personally, I would suggest you to place a ad unit right under every new thread.

    I still wonder, how you are getting traffic for your forum! Sorry no offence.

    Your general discussion section is hijacked with spam posts, please do check. Guess, Google doesn't likes this

    It seems you are using infolinks & adsense ad's completely over the forum. Seriously if i was the first user from search results to a page, i would get out of the forum instantly.

    Some suggestions:-
    1)Optimize ad codes, only where it needs to be. -Seems pretty disturbing when a bunch of ads appear on page, than content!
    2)Contribute some unique posts.

    Don't make your forum as the next porn forums, filled with ads all-over

    It is perfectly normal for forums to have adsense ctr way below 1 %, kinda like 0.2 % or 0.1 %. So you must have a huge number of visitors for a decent earnings.

    It's called Ad blindness & is normal for forums. When traffic is constantly loading the same pages over & over day after day they learn where the content is located & where the Ads are. You can try rotating paid Ads with Adsense (or whatever Ad) to create a little variety for traffic.

    When you try to earn from Adsense then traffic plays very important tole and these traffics should be from Google search engine too.

    you need a LOT of traffic to earn a good amount from adsense. but then: why sending away visitors you had a hard time to get for some cents?
    anyway, if you want that: add lots of content to your forum. forums are also indexed from search engines. once you have a lot there you'll get a lot of traffic
    another aspect is to interact a lot with your members and make them come back
