New Site Please Help Out

Hey warriors!

Just like to say thanks for all your help, the moment I joined this community I felt at home

I'm rather new to SEO and internet marketing, and I would like some advice. I've done a few websites but most of them failed, my new site is about renewable energy etc etc, it's not nearly finished but I thought 6 pages is enough for now, I'll be adding more pages in the future...

Now my question, did I do the onpage SEO right? Is there anything that I need to change? My site: Renewable Energy.

Also I've noticed the domain is an expired domain, so will the history ofthe domain influence my website in any way?

    I've had a really quick look through the source code on your front page, maybe someone else will have the time to give you a more in depth response but here's my view..

    You tick most of the right boxes and if this is your first attempt that SEO then you've done a very good job.

    The age of a domain is important.. and how long you've registered it for also plays an important role. Your navigation structure needs to be a bit more stable but seriously well done, you've done a sterling job so far.

    Yeah, good stuff. Titles are correct, H1 tag in place, interlinking of pages, all good!

    Just one thing. The link to "Renewable energy" in the menu is pointing to "http://www.renergy.co.za/index.php" which is the same as "http://www.renergy.co.za". Google does actually see this as 2 separate pages and although it won't really affect your site it's good practice not to link to the same page in different ways. Just change the link in the menu to "http://www.renergy.co.za" just to tidy it up. Do the same for the link in the image....
