Hi Guys

I have finished developing a new website which is a WordPress platform, I made sure to have it not showing on Google before I finished. I have not yet indexed it anywhere, the website is brand new but it now has 100% accurate on page SEO implemented. What should be the next step, before I start back link building.

My thoughts would be:

1. Submit it to Google/Yahoo via: Free Google, Yahoo & Bing Submission - SubmitStart
2. Build the site map "It's WordPress"
3. Start back link building

That's it!

Am I missing anything?

Seems quite decent. However, wait until your site is fully indexed, then start to backlinking. If it won't get indexed you could try some bookmarks from legit sites like digg, reddit, diigo. But overall you are good to go.

Thanks, I was thinking perhaps I should now submit my website to the Google Webmaster tools, then add the XML file into the root. Then maybe submit it into the: Free Google, Yahoo & Bing Submission - SubmitStart

Should I first make the website visible on search engines, before I do anything else you think?

Well, honestly. In many cases your site (if it's legit) will get indexed in 24hours without adding your site to webmaster tools or any other places. In some rare cases it can take a while. So, wait like 2 days (add your site to digg, reddit, diigo) and if it's indexed, you don't really need to use the GWT at all. Of course, if you feel that you get somewhat useful information/data from that then feel free to do it.

I don't really see the need to wait to start backlinking. Just don't go nuts and send thousands of automated links to the site.

Real Fast Views... The true power of the wordpress platform comes out when you add lots of content to the site.

So I'd say you are missing content.

3 or 4 unique posts per week hyper-relevant to your niche and your target market combined with some intelligent backlink building can create massive amounts of traffic, over time.

No short cut with content marketing and we can tell you from experience... It is indeed worth the effort.

Thanks, I'll be sure to add content on a weekly basis, as for back link building I'm advanced with the likes of GSA, SENUKE, and know how to implement good tier link building over a safe amount of time. Thanks for the advice it's appreciated.

Just start building your backlinks slowly and wait for your website to get indexed first. Then slowly put contents on a regular basis and start backlinking them

Make a blog and update at least once a week.

SEO and optimize all of your images for speed.
Interlink your site so spiders can crawl through it easy.
Make sure you set up your site map properly and then rebmit your site to the search engines.
Submit your sites new blog RSS feed to MAJOR (only) feed agregators.
    Create Twitter and Facebook
Create Google+ for business or something that you can associate with your website

Thanks a lot for that advice. Could you please possibly point me in the right direction to the best places to do this -> "blog RSS feed to MAJOR (only) feed agregators"

Sounds to me like you are looking to turbo boost your serp's? You said you are good with Senuke and GSA? I would be really careful with a new site bro, especially if it's sitting on a brand new domain. Some may disagree, but I have found out the hard way that "speed kills" when trying to rank. Try to build so it looks natural including your RSS feeds. When it gets going, links start to index, and the domain has a little age, then ramp it up. We all know that excitement and impatience are killers! Would hate to see you lose all of your hard work over a de-indexed site. Just my .02.. Good luck

If you have finished your work then its time to use social media to promote your site content in easy way. Facebook and pinterest are best , free and easy way to promote your sites content.

You should also consider to get back links. One thing I would like to suggest that first try to focus on high pr site like pr 6 and above ( they help alot in fast indexing ).
