It's strange not to be getting any traffic from Google. Have you checked that your site is indexed or if it's being penalised?

Maybe your site is just not ranking in the top results on Google. Usually, it's the case that one's website will rank further behind on Google than on the others, as there are more competitor websites on Google. This is generally speaking though.

Try to post in these article directories like....

    1. Ezinearticles.
    2. Selfgrowth.
    3. Articlebase.
    4. Articlesfactory.
    5. Articledashboard

Then definitely you can increase your backlinks as well as you will get some traffic from these websites.

SEO is all about ranking keywords, so you have to focus on optimization of keywords.. submitting article is one way of link building and traffic, it helps as well, but you should use other ways too so that you can get some natural links which help in SEO today.

Natural links can be really powerful. To get these natural links, you need to focus on adding more and more content to your site, preferably via your blog!

      good luck!

I Agree, but not all the time you have to rely on keyword.. you also have to check your user intent, user experience, interaction and contents. as of today, google has lessen the keyword's importance. they focused more on to user intent, media, contents and traffic.

You might want to check if your content is search engine optimized. It's not only the keywords that matter but also the value of your content, originality, the title, and so on. It's also possible that since Google is larger, you have more competition which may have performed better than you. You should widen your knowledge about SEO and how to improve your blogs so Google will notice you.
