I'll take a stab at this.

I used to post such things a long time ago on one website
    with revolving links.
I just did a search, and copied and pasted it.
    Here is a general one:
    ASCII art: Information from Answers.com

Very easy to copy the one you want, but,
you need to be aware that unless it is formatted correctly
it may look messed up. That's because not all spaces
are spaces, etc. Some places get rid of all the white spaces
and it becomes a jumbled mess. In ascii copied, sometimes
the width of spaces are different, causing it to be scrunched.

I do think they only see the ad link, and must click on your
link to see the ad. It may be cost effective to make a fancy
character title using the special characters. Again, this is
easy as you can browse ads and see a title that looks fancy
and copy that, then paste it. Even rearrange the stuff to
look different. Or, you can use microsoft word or wordpad,
change the font to the special characters, and make your own.
But again, some special characters may not show up correctly.
The only way to really know is to copy an ad already thee.

    Hi Lynn,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for your question.

ASCII Art will work anywhere that you can display a fixed width font. All you need is a simple text editor like notepad to create or copy and save your artwork.

Just Google "ASCII Art" to find sites that you can copy artwork from or learn how to create your own.

Thank you. That's what I was trying to say. Craigslist may not be fixed width.
      This forum isn't, I presume.
