Hey all, I am wondering what can I do to boost up my External Back links of my site. I have 4 other competitors that are doing quite well and my goal is to reach the top one. I have checked on open site explorer about my backlinks and my competitors backlinks.

What can I do to increase my backlinks and beat my competitors in this case.
What are your thoughts guys.

My problem is PAge authority too low.
External links too low, any idea on how to increase that daily?
total link root domain is too low.

Please advise.

    Take participate in forum posting which have high page rank and if allowed you can place your signature to get a backlink. Even though most of them are no-follow they help in google ranking (as I have experienced that). Do regular posting in forums to get benefit but don't spam.

    There are number of ways to get backlinks but all takes time and effort. I have tried blog commenting but didn't help much.

    The best thing you can do is create your website or blog interesting with good content and good design. Try to engage your visiters and interlinks your pages so that they can be viewed by search engine as well as your visitors.

    It takes time and efforts to do all things but gradually you will be able to get high traffic with time.

      I can't see from the picture (it's too small) what other numbers are, so it's difficult to assess distribution of other items that you question.

      But if you wish to know how to increase the number of your inbound links, it's a general rule of thumb that you need backlinks created in such environment where they will stay and get counted. Of course you can do a scrapebox/xrumer/wiki blasts, but this will live short after initial boost, and eventually links will vanish which will create negative movements in your rankings.

      Build backlinks on sites that accept content publishing, are of authority kind, and preferably have human review of the content before they accept it. Then build few backlinks to these stronger backlinks to pass even more authority and page rank to your money site. By doing so, you will not need sheer number of backlinks created all over the place in order to achieve similar number of links that your competition have. The best news is that smaller number of quality backlinks will do better than 1000's of trash backlinks pointed to your site.

    As someone above suggested,relevant comments on high pr blog pages will raise your authority a lot.Of course,do not limit yourself to them.The best way to start is by using at last 7-8 different platforms while properly diversifying your anchor text ratio.

    Even though I do know all these tips from a long time ago, its good to have them on my mind again.

    I do have a blog with my ecommerce website, and we are trying to publish as much quality content as possible. I guess I would have to start submitting my blogs to high PR sites instead of focusing on shitty sites.

    I am thinking about stumble upon, reddit, delicious ,buzzfeed, pinterest.
    any better suggestions for BLogs?

    I would suggest you improve your on-page SEO as well. Post good and quality content. The same goes with your off page, you should be able to also do more article marketing, maximize the use of social signals, and make use of related forums and community sites.
