IS MY MY WEBMASTER TOOL WRONG OR WHAT

though i don't have a rank checking tool but when i check my rank in web master tool, it shows that some of my key words are already in first page in fact in position 1 -5 for that particular kw and yet when i do a google search i cannot find them there, is it that the webmaster tool is wrong or what please i need some one to enlighten me?

    I usually have to use an Incognito Window (in Chrome) to check my rank. Google shows "personalized" results if you are signed into your Google account while trying to check search results. I've also had success opening up Internet Explorer and checking my rank.

      Hey mate.

      This is very common, what you will find is that when your site is indexed on google your site bounces all over the place. I would ignore everything that shows impressions <10, the stats you are seeing are false.

      Your solution : goto serpfox.com sign up for free account and check your real ranks.

      Once you see lots of impressions on a keyword in webmastertools that means thats a true reading.

      I remember i was the same when i started, I went to webmaster tool and saw i had 1st place impressions, I was really excited, then reality kicked in and I realized I actually had to work hard to get sort of ranking!
