Simple ways to get high ranking pages on wordpress based sites.

Over the years, I have found out that doing successful SEO is easiest with wordpress blogs..... just take care of a few simple things...
1. use a unique theme.. does not have to be paid.. just take a theme and change stuff in the css file..
2. the name of the posts you make should be the same as the heading of the posts...
ie: if you are writing about "how to tie a lace"... your link should look like www.abc.com/how-to-tie-a-lace.html
and you should have a h1 formatted sentence at the top of the post saying " how to tie a lace"
3. use the h2 and h3 formats as well for sub headdings.... these are very useful to get rankings for keywords not in your title or url.... suppose you want to be ranked for 'black shoe polish' for the above mentioned example, use these words in an h2 and then h3 ...
4. you can also make the above h2 formatted word into a link and link it to a page titled and with the words 'black-shoe-polish' in the url....
this is all one needs to make a decent page on wordpress.... other than the obvious fresh content.... if you have one such page, google ranks that page high... if all your pages are like that then your domain index page value goes high.... if you keep adding new pages frequently, google sets its bots to visit your site frequently and for people who choose to read new stuff or current news, your site pops before many other, more relevant pages because google assumes that you will have the latest info......
