How to fix with 404 pages

I have more than 200 page which say 404 error in webamster tool. How can i fix them ?

Should i use 301 redirect to all 200 URLs ?? or there is any other method ?

I tried to remove the all URLs via webamster tool but none of them has been deleted. I don't know why.

Is the site in Wordpress?

If so there are numerous plugins you can install that can fix this for you (ie 404 redirection)

You should use 301 permanent redirection of all pages to your website's new url OR redirect all old pages url to home page url.

Use 301 to redirect all your 404 pages to your new urls.
WordPress › Search for 301 « WordPress Plugins there are some 301 redirect plugins for you.

Hello alina, Hope you are doing great

404 error for 200 page that is huge. As you give the answer in your question, redirect all those pages to the newly build pages using 301 redirect. From my opinion this is the best way to get out of this issue.

use 301 redirection for all 404 pages to new corresponding pages & if you don't have new corresponding pages then redirect to Home page.

I suggest you should use 301 redirect, in the past I got over 500 pages with 404 errors and I use 301 redirect htaccess and all errors were removed.
