Author Tag for Multiple Authors

Hello Warriors,
I am little confuse about "author tag". Please share your valuable experiences with it.
Google says to add author tag to the website like: <link rel="Author" href="https://plus.google.com/XYZ"/>
I think it's better if a website has only one author.
I want to know what to when a website have more than 1/2 authors and those all are posting content on regular basis?
