I see this guy advertising on FB with this ad. Everytime I go to create a ad similar I can't? What type of ad is this?

    It's called a promoted post. Within the post, you'll see a link that says "Promote".

    Sure, I see sponsored posts in my feed everyday. I have around 1,900 friends, so my feeds always spammed to crap. I have also toyed around with promoted posts and had great success, more specifically so on competitions.

    Yes. Promoted Post or Page Post Ad. The image is larger for this type of ad.

        When you create a new ad, just select the target to be one of your facebook pages. From there choose the option to promote a page post.

          Exactly. Select "Promote Page Posts" and you will be presented with a list of all your posts - choose the one you want to. You can even create a new one, not have it publish on the fanpage - but still promote it as a page post ad.
