Noob to SEO, where do i start

Hello, i would like to give myself a basic understanding of SEO, im just starting out in this internet money making world of dreams.

Could you please recommend me resources to start with, which would help me just get a basic knowledge of the core fundamentals.

Start with ON-PAGE SEO (create different meta tags for every page), then H1 (header) tags, also alt and title for images and links.. When you do this, be sure that your content is unique and start promoting it online! // And do not forget next time to browse the forum first and then ask a question!

Why don't you use this thread http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...d-threads.html - It is a real good SEO book, you can learn a lots of things from there - Other than that, check out with Google webmaster tools help as well... Those are really helpful..
