Hello folks,
I am managing a free global advertising site. Right now my site is getting about 200-300 impressions a day. I am showing adsense ads with sizes 728*90,250*250 and 180*150.

I have come across a theme that provides me with option of showing 300*250,336*280 and 728*90(I have read that they are the best ad slot sizes). The theme costs about $45. So it worth the investment ?

Almost all decent themes will allow you to show the "recommended" banner sizes you mentioned.

Whether it is worth the $45 investment nobody can really tell you, that is a matter of preference.

However if the only reason you want to buy the theme is because it displays those ad sizes, again like I said most decent themes out there will allow you to display them, so I guess shop around.

I'm still playing around with my Google Ads to see what works best, size and position.

Certainly at the top of the article seems to have made a difference. I'm now moving to try the larger size and seeing how effective it is.

I'd love to hear what people found worked for them.

One thing more, changing theme may affect your SEO as well, (whether positively or negatively) so you have to think of this first.

For me, it would be better the current theme I'm using if my site ranking is good.. ad placement is not big matter, I can adjust as well.

It is very expensive you should check more and try to buy cheep theme because there is no need to invest too much in it. However ads are very helpful to increase income and impressions.
