Many webmasters feel so frustrate for Google punished the website. I am doing SEO Q and A, many customers asked me to analysis the reasons of their website be penalized.
I found most of them are making the same mistakes. So I list down the errors or mistakes for helping webmaster doing proper SEO.
1 Using side wide links as the backlinks strategy. Some people like to build own private blog network, and put the website link at the bottom or side bar of website. That's same as buying links. Google forbiden people using such method to create backlinks in the Google Webmaster Guide. So, you know how bad it is.
2 Spam comments. You may saw some high PR page with thousands of comments because of the webmaster using this create backlinks, especially the edu and gov blogs. Never ever using such method to create backlinks, because
1 outbound links in a single page cannot more than 99
2 anchor text is not relevant to the contents
3 these pages already marked as spam. Google never drop the PR, but marked the page with negative backlinks effect.
3 Using same the type of back links. For example, they like to create 100 profile backlinks, or 100 web 2.0 blog backlinks. Such links also known as unnatural backlinks. Which user will share the links to 100 profiles.
4 The mindset is wrong. They all knows back links can help increase the SERP, never focus on the visitors. Google like visitor share the links, not webmaster create links.
5 Buying links from private blog network. Private blog network is a disaster because the guy selling the blog post but also post other people's links. How come every post in the website has doffolow links to link other websites. Google are not stupid to detect such methods.
