WordPress + HTML on Hosting, SEO Problem?

Hello All,

Would have an index page as HTML and the rest of my website as WordPress affect my SEO? Or for that matter, half of my website HTML and the other half WordPress.

No problems with that, make sure there's no duplicate content or navigation problems and you're fine.

In a word ... no.

Just be sure the HTML page itself has good SEO.
In fact, avoid some of those useless "SEO" plugins for WordPress. All-In-One SEO, for example, is quite bad. Use something low resource, like Yoast.

Main thing is content on your site, as you are using html home page so optimize it perfectly (on-page optimization).
