Hi All,

First post on forum.

I have just finished building a site for the automotive industry and added google adsence to make some money from it.

Yesterday I was #1 in google for my secondary key word . I guessing due to a EDM. Now I am know were to be found on either of my keywords.

I am still indexed.

I have not done much off page SEO
Just 4 links from nofollow high PR blogs.

Any idea why the jump?
Any help with a next move?

Thanks

MTC

If you site is new, it could be due to Google dance. Just continue on adding content and get more links it should bounce back up.

    Hello MTC

Just 4 links from nofollow high PR blogs.

Why nofollow? Please don't say you are using blog comments to rank a site in 2013.

    Any idea why the jump?

Yes, you probably had some cookies saved. Delete your cookies+history and run your keyword query through Chrome incognito mode.

Any help with a next move?

Build more decent links. 4 nofollow links from blogs aren't probably enough.

You should build some more backlinks and add quality content consistently. I disagree with the other commenter making the notion that blog comment backlinks aren't good. They are still powerful and work very well. I use them all the time, and they help increase rankings. It all comes down to where backlinks come from. The TrustRank and PR of a site are important in determining the quality of the link.

Well this maybe becouse your website was pretty good, like google likes. But you should continue in this way to come back on your results. It takes time, just go ahead and do the things in consistent way, don't stop never.
