Why do refer to your own business in the third person, while self promoting?

Trim that list to about 5-10 keywords. 40-60 is a pretty daunting task if you're just starting out. Besides, you'll naturally rank for all sorts of long tails that you never considered anyway.

Once you're more comfortable move onto other keywords.

First of all, I'd make sure that they're actually low competition by evaluating the top 10 results. Once you've done that, I'd get started with just one keyword with more than 1000 searches per month and build the site from there.

You should find at least 5-10 long tail keywords related to the main term to get the site started.

But as I said above you should make sure that those kws are really low competition. If they're then you wont need many backlinks to rank well.

So many people fail to do this.

And, to an even greater extent, make sure you can crack into the top 3.
