I recently changed our SEO strategy. Before, we do linkbuilding such as article submission, blog commenting, etc. Now our strategy is more on content and social media integration.

How long does it usually take effect? When will I see the change? 2 weeks? 3 weeks?

    Depends on keywords that you target. This can need 1 day. Otherwise - 6 months.

    SEO has changed a lot for the last 12 months or so, it can take even 2 years to rank a competitive keyword until it is number 1 in Google. So start with long tail keywords for the time being.

    Too many factors to be able to say when your rankings will change. I once had a site that didn't hit page one of google until a month after I had given up on it.

    But don't for a minute think you can do just a few weeks of SEO and then drop it completely. Sure your ranks may rise, but they will fall again too.
