Climbing Google ranks

Hello all

I have had my website for about 2 months its about bicycling in Singapore and it's ranked #1 in Bicycling Singapore but in another keyword Bicycle Singapore its ranked #13 use to be ranked #8 but it dropped and I am no successful in returning it to its former rank or even getting #12. Would editing my website and adding more content be necessary (as its new) or backlinks the most important in achieving a high ranking on google.

Feel free to review my website and give me some advice, its my first one.

    Your page is far more optimized for "bicycling singapore" oppose to "bicycle singapore" which only appears twice on your page, try adding it to your page title and again in the first sentence or H1 on your page, then type your keyword into google keyword tool, take the top 10 relevant keywords shown and insert them naturally onto your page as well, then build links using your keyword as well as the 10 relevant keywords as anchor text, be sure to build more natural anchor text than money keywords, like variations of your URL, brandname and "click here", etc......

      Thanks I should do that, will I loose ranking in my other field which is less competitive but I am ranking #1
