I bought 1000 (quite good quality) business cards for $64. I put them all over shops and chippies in UK seaside towns where people are buying holiday flats and cottages to rent all the time. These people all want their own websites. Dot dot dot - you fill in the gaps.

You can't oppress users to convert into customers. Yeah your contents, services, products can impress a user...

Find keywords you are confident in ranking,
Do a Google search for those keywords
Take results 5th-20th
Start emailing or calling.

You can be sure that those sites are in need of a good SEO to rank for those keywords.

Look up local small businesses that got suckered into using those crappy web.com websites by using a footprint, example Google search "Web.com Group, Inc" + "Chicago" (or whatever local city you want to target). Those small business won't pay a ton, but will bring you an extra $100+ per month for doing basic SEO. These small businesses pay web.com monthly for not doing anything, so I'm sure you can improve their rank and up sell better services to them after you build a relationship. I get some quick and easy clients this way and simply spend about an hour per month doing SEO work on their website (by outsourcing to Fiverr). As you can see you can turn an easy profit.

After you build a nice portfolio, increase your prices and offer more services. Soon you will start getting biz from word of mouth.

I am working in Better Graph online marketing company and generating seo leads from linkedin, forum, social media and business listing sites. So you need to search all your keywords and find the listing website those are coming in top position and try to list your business in same category.

There is a big difference between a bunch of random information and a lead, most of the advise you are having is about how to collect a random set of data, a lead is someone who has CLEARLY expressed and interes in YOUR SERVICES, once I cleared that up the only way to generate good leads is to create them yourself.

Most of the guys writting here are talking about cold calling, emailing, scrapping etc... all those are bad techniques to prospect, they give you no leverage, you will be always fighting for price and you will be crushed after a couple of months.

I will suggest some direct marketing techniques, go to the offline side of the forum and look for them, I have clearly explained how I have gotten clients without cold calling, step by step, in the War room I posted an exclusive training about it, get it its free.

Best thing to do is higher a group of outsources that do full time scraping for you. Finding SEO leads is tough you might get 1 conversion out of every 500 leads since everyone and their mothers is looking for SEO leads now. You will need to be scraping daily for these to get anywhere, hope this helps!

Well! I used to do this and it worked, but for us wasn't worth the investment. We ranked ourselves in a very competitive niche (guess what ) for more than 100 keywords, for keywords that a professional in that industry searches for to find any type of marketing. Killed us to do that and was a heavy investment. Got more than 100 leads in a year from that effort in form of calls or emails asking specifically for marketing. Each lead was worth several hundred dollars.
Now, the good part is over. Despite having this many pre-qualified leads (some of them even specifically asked for SEO in their message even though they initially searched something else), we had few closed contracts, for different reasons:
1- They also contacted our competitors. They had no SEO knowledge, but better sales skills over the phone. They convinced them to pay them thousands of dollars for worse service.
2- They finally ended up hiring a local company in their state or city, or they wanted a local rep to visit them.
3- They were too cost-concerned and out of our scope. Probably they ended up hiring someone on Elance, etc.
4- They wanted a full package of marketing options. A list that they can pick and add items and think they get many services each for a lower price, compared to SEO at a higher price. That's another mentality that is widespread in that niche.
Not bad because we closed some, but not worth our investment not having other infrastructures in place, so we stopped that effort. But, it may work for you if there is a niche and some keywords you choose that are not as competitive, and convert better.

Just a caution note, today I just thought to buy SEO leads while searching for the same on google I found getmeseo[dot]come website and I thought give it a try.

I went on and purchased 5 leads and completed the payment as well, but very worried as after making payment while redirecting there was error. And also I have not received any leads at all, there isn't any information where and how we would get the leads. I only got automatic reply with Order Information. Nothing else, really worried. Please let me know if anyone as bought the leads from getmeseo?

Never used getmeseo before, just put in a dispute and say you never got the product. Paypal should rule in your favor.
