Need Some Help With Keyword Research

Hey guys. I'm new to seo and this is actually my first post on the forums. I've bee reading various blogs (moz mainly) and I'm trying to find a how to guide on researching keywords professionally. I'm willing to put in the hours to learn it. I just need some more references of where to learn it and some ways the pros do it.

    Ok dear no tension i will guide for this.
    1)First of all create PSL chart for your project, P For product, S for service L for location. find all these things in your project.
    2) Then create some rough keywords by assuming you as a user
    3) Now using Google Ad words keyword tool
    4) Use these rough keywords and find some others keywords from there
    5)Always take a keyword which have low competition & high searches
    6) Always Take along tail & relevant keywords.

    Go to YouTube and search for your term.

    Kiss Ass use to have a good keyword research video on YouTube, you might want to google that for it's YT link.
