High Quality Landing Page Examples?

Hi,

I have read alot about landing pages and how important they are but I dont know how they should be presented. I have seen plenty of awful ones which scroll on for pages of waffle as if they want you to join a pyramid scheme and then ask for your email address.

Does anyone have any examples of quality landing pages? Should they have products on or not?

Sometimes you can find lists of good landing page examples. For instance here are some pretty good ones,

I suppose you have to know what you are looking at in order to determine if it is good or not. In general the action that you want users to perform should be above the fold, keywords used to find the page should be prominent, there should be few distractions and the action you want users to perform should be very obvious.
