Is Yahoo PPC Any Good?

Has anyone got experience of using Yahoo PPC advertising, and if so how effective has it been in generating your sales? I am thinking of it as an alternative to AdWords but don't know if it's worthwhile or not.

Anyone use Yahoo PPC advertising, and how do you find it?

Is it more cost effective than Google AdWords?

Yahoo is more cost effective than Google. There is less traffic, but if you don't have a huge budget that shouldn't be a problem. The quality is about the same as Google. Sometimes better or worse. Watch their search partners and content network performance if you opt into that.

Thanks. Do you know if Yahoo allows affiliates to create PPC ads using their hoplinks?

I don't know Yahoo/Bing's current policy on clickbank hop links. The good news is, you can try it, and if they block it you can create another campaign with a landing page 5 minutes later. They won't permanently ban you like Adwords will. You'll still be able to use the account.

Obviosly yahoo isn't Google, but when I used to run several eCommerce sites, yahoo ads were delivering pretty targeted alternative traffic.

I just started promoting an affiliate product using Bing Ads (Yahoo and Bing search alliance) and so far the traffic volume is less than what I expected. However, the CPCs aren't bad and I'm sure it's a lot less than Google's.

Do you promote CPA offer on Adwords? And how does Google's traffic perform? Does it convert well? The high level of competition concerns a little bit.

Hi. I don't know anything about CPA yet I am relatively new to Internet Marketing. I did however try to sell a clickbank product using AdWords but had my account suspended as I don't think they allow direct linking to clickbank squeeze pages anymore. This is why I am considering Yahoo/Bing as a alternative... do you know if they allow you to promote your hoplinks directly?

I use Yahoo ads regularly.... the price is right and the traffic is good... You want the downside? There just isn't as much traffic as Adwords.

I love advertising on Bing! It is relatively cheaper then Google, the competition is much lower and the conversion rate is higher. It can be really efficient. However you need to build large campaigns, because the traffic is low.

Thanks. Do you know if you can directly promote affiliate links/URL's with Bing? I know that Google doesn't allow this!

I get excellent traffic from Yahoo & Bing. Excellent ROI compared to Google. I love it and use it with most of my squeeze pages.

Personally I have found both Bing and Yahoo to provide traffic with a much higher conversion rate than Google, in addition it is an awful lot cheaper to advertise on! Obviously you will receive less traffic from Bing/Yahoo than Google but the lower cost levels this out.
