Does Bing use google page rank in their own algorithm

Hi guys,

Is it the google PR of backlinks pointing to your site that Bing also uses to rank pages in their search engine ?

So does a fresh PR 6 backlink pointing to your site have the same effect in the Bing search results as it does in Googles results ?

    PageRank is Google intellectual property. No other search engine can use it.

    I'm sure Bing and Yahoo have similar ranking metrics.

    Bing does not use Google PR

    So does a fresh PR 6 backlink pointing to your site have the same effect in the Bing search results as it does in Googles results ?
    PR is much much more than backlinks and one PR6 backlink is meaningless, 500 FRESH backlinks would probably result in a penalty on Google and likely Bing as well.
