Anchor Text or does it matter?...

You know I was just qondering... If you already have a keyword in your url, does that eliminate the necessity to use keyword anchor text?

        Yes it does matter, you should use your keyword anchor text as well as within your URL.

        Where anchor text really matters, however is using it when writing articles or making posts or link exchanges. Be sure that any links you set up to bring people back to your webpages are set up using your keyword anchor text.

      Yeah, that's the point. Using the same anchor text will look spammy, so these need to be diversified as much as possible.

      In general, anchor text is among the key factors in terms of relevancy, I mean it's a must to rank high for particular search queries.

    If possible, when you write your anchor text, include title tag, there you can add a little longer description of your anchor. This title will appear when you put cursor over the link.
