Google doesn't update page Titles

As the title says. i can not get google to update my page titles. It is within the specs <70 characters. I have had my company name always at the beginning and the service after. I like to have the service before the company as i feel its a disadvantage and i should have the service at the beginning of the page titles. Pages are crawled regularly and yet old page titles show.

I am listed in DMOZ as well as the yahoo directory and use the noodp, noydir tags for all it matters.

    I’m not sure how long ago you made your changes but according to Google, it can take some time to update SERPs. There are some things you can do to speed up the process. You can learn more about them here,

    The DMOZ titles/descriptions for your site can overrule the ones on your site
    unless you specify otherwise:
    Google supports META NOODP tag

    Your titles/descriptions are ONLY SUGGESTIONS to google;
    they say so in their guidelines... they can and do make up titles/descriptions

    Your best bet to get the titles/descriptions you want:
    make SURE those EXACT words also APPEAR on the PAGE
