Competitive Keyword Analysis

For me personally I would use Google keyword tool for prospective keywords, then analysis with Moz.org.

I start out with 50 keywords hand picked and pick out the gems.
Then I would take the top 10 and analysis with Moz.
Then from there take on the easyer words first.

Moz Keyword competition

What are you thoughts on this? I would love to hear how other people are doing it differently then from there I will have the handful of gem keywords to begin targeting.

    Save yourself the hassle and just get pro keyword research from fiverr. I get a keyword comp list and filter it through adwords competition levels and work on what's left over.

    How do you usually do the analysis with Google Keyword Tool? What are your standards in picking those keywords, etc. Because that's what matters, not how many tools you use.

    Indeed, even if you have the best keyword research tool the world recognizes, if you don't use great parameters when searching for keywords that are easy to rank, that tool won't serve its purposes.

    When you do keyword research, I suggest you use these parameters we also use in our keyword research service:

    Low Competition
    Global Monthly Searches (GMS) of at least 5000
    Cost-Per-Click (CPC) of at least $1.00
    At least 30 daily searches on Google
    No more than 150,000 competing sites
