Help with google add appearing at the top!

Hey guys.

Here I am again.

I just set up a google campaign. It is for one keyword (2 words) that doesn't have any other google ads and I set it up on Auto with a small daily budget.

Why does my add appear at the bottom of the page instead of the top?

Is there any way I could change that?

Thank you!

This often occurs with a branded keyword and comes back to the user experience. If it's not branded, check out your max CPC and Quality Score so far for any indications of areas of improvement.

If you're running on search only (check your campaign settings to ensure you're also not running activity on the Google Display Network. Click your campaign - Settings tab - scroll down to Networks and see what's selected via the edit link), take a look at the keywords you're running and what the present max CPCs are. (Keywords tab, max CPC column).

You can also see the overall Quality Score in one of the columns, if you don't see it, find the "columns" drop down beneath the navigation tabs, click "Customize columns" - "Attributes" and add Qual. Score.

These are two areas that affect the health of your campaigns, so be sure to research each in depth.

Yeah I only run on search network. the automatic cpc is about 3.15, which I believe is good. have to check on the Quality Score. Can QS can be improved by changing some parameters or it only gets better by time?

    Thanks for all the help!

Quality Score is assigned based on a variety of factors, however the CTR is most important. Ad copy, keyword and landing page content have to be closely aligned.

If there's something lacking, identify potential areas of improvement and test. Adding more relevant ad text may not only increase the QS but could also increase CTR, for example.
