When searching for my exact article title and domain name, only 2/7 of my articles show up on google.. what's up with that? Am I doing something wrong?

I've got google/bing webmasters set up, and on analytics all my posts are there so I know it sees that they exist..

It takes time for Google to index some of the pages. It doesn't matter if you post a 400 word article or a huge one above 1000 words. We've published a couple of days ago a tutorial that was more than 2000 words on how to draw a vector artwork in illustrator and still we have no traffic to it. Even though it's quite a hot and frequently searched thing. Everything takes time with Google as it needs to figure out on what keywords your article will show up and on what not. Also it's examining your content through the prism of user usefuleness.

Btw. When did you publish them ?

You can speed up things by submitting them through 'fetch as google' tool avaible under Google webmaster tools as well as you can use yahoo answers to post answers with links providing to your articles. Of course as long as it's related to the user's question.
