When will people stop crying about Google updates?

Shortly after they give up & start working at McDonalds.

When they learn how to actually do SEO...ive never ever been hit and have been doing the same exact primary thing for years...high PR networks...

When people stop search for the information and advertisers decide they don't want to sell impressions or get paid for ad clicks.

People will stop when Google's search engine dominance is over, which is probably not for at least a decade.

When people finally learn that Internet Marketing more about marketing than the internet. People need to make sites which help the people they are targeting in some significant way. Then market to these people, where they are and how they want to be marketed to.

Until people learn that Internet Marketing is NOT a get rich quick scheme, they will still complain that Google is out to get them. In fact, Google is out to provide the best service possible to their customers. Which, in case you didn't realize, is the people doing the searching, NOT the marketers!

Its Google and they will do everything to keep the web spam free in their language.I was also involved in SEO for years and after the penguin update back in April 2012 I am not keen anymore to SEO.It takes Google only a few hours to wash away all of your efforts through their algorithmic updates.Now I am more than happy with the media buying,at least I am getting some targeted traffic and sales and It does not require efforts like SEO.

Never, Its a hot topic for publishers. If someone's website or blog is losing traffic then owner needs a someone to blame, one of such victim is google algorithms

People will stop crying when Search Share will equally distributed to other search engine like Bing ,Yahoo,Ask etc.

when they master primary SEO way, when people/marketer know the way how to make a website long lasting up standing there (in right way). there's no more tears.

Google updates mean google want to filter .. the true white marketer, minimizing people who use such a black trick that harm google client.

Need to follow ethical process which is acceptable for Google. Follow Google webmaster central regular basis.

I dont think ever it is possible... As Big G will never stop its algo updates and they are depending on SEO/SMO so people will never stop their link building or artificial social buzz too

When they stop focusing on one source of revenue, and start realizing it's not just about one site, but having tons of sites.

Also, when people stop crying about people crying. haha.

You're complaining about people complaining? Are you kidding me? People are losing money and you are cavalier about it.

For starters I've learned one thing in the12 years that I've been selling online - don't depend on Google - it's all a scam. You can read posts and articles from 1,000 know-it-all SEO types and you'll learn nothing. Everyone's a Google expert!

They say "find non-competitive keywords, build quality links, post quality articles on blog posts, create a relevant website" - it's all hooey!

Every day I see garbage websites listed on the first page of searches - and they are Alexa ranked! The truth is you can have a great website, selling necessary stuff but you then have to spend hours in the hopes of weeding through the tons of "helpful" info to get ranked for Google searches.....I just love the people on this site and others who blather on "You just have to follow the rules and work hard". Nonsense! If you found an abandoned mine full of gold and created a website selling Golden Eagles $100 below market price you couldn't get ranked in the first 10 pages on Google.

No matter what the "experts" say, I say Google owns the internet and they don't want to play nice so don't play their game at all. Think outside the box and you're dead meat with them. They change the rules as they see fit. The ground shifts after you've done your best to build your home.

And now Google is employing a tactic that they would ban you from Adsense if you did it: Spamming emails.

Think of Google reliance like Thermo Nuclear War: "The only way to win is not to play the game".

These will happen as long as google is the man source of traffic for many peoples websites.

Adapt and learn from the algorithm updates or you'll die like the rest of temporary SEOs in the game.
