Domain same as Keyword Benefit

Hi Warriors

.
I have one question, i am trying to find a niche like (for example) programming course . Market sumurai shows it has high competition more then 150,000 results. Also when i check the competition (in Market sumurai) it mostly have red section , all domian has Pr 5,4,3,2,1 on first page ,some are.edu domain,domain ages are from 4 to 17.
but one thing they dont have that keyword in thier domain name.
some of them have the keyword in there title only.some of them have them in url or page title.
what you think its easy one or should i move to other keyword.


All the top pages dont have keyword in the domain . if i get domain same like keyword such as programmingcourse.com do i have less competition to face ?

    Yes is the answers, If you have keywords in your domain name you will get benefit for sure but that doesn't guaranty that you will be on top positions as there are many ranking factors.

    Your competition is the same regardless If you have an EMD (exact match domain). Don't rely on an EMD as SEO, do real SEO (quality links) or you'll be disappointed later on with the SERPs.

    That shows that having the keyword in your domain isn't the answer, gone are the days EDM works.

    You can only see those sites on the first page because they are authority website, make your site and authority and it doesn't matter if you name it anything...

    It is good to have a keyword in your domain instead of having an EMD. However, the keyword density should be between 80-95 in your domain. Since you are using Market Samurai, I assume you know what I am saying.

    Domain name with your keyword or your product and services is very good for you site to get rank in the search engine because Google consider these types of domain good.

    In old days it is beneficial for keyword in domain name. but after Google EMD (Exact Match Domain) updation it is not more beneficial......

    EMD still works but it's not effective as it was before meanwhile if any website is optimized with SEO + EMD will get more benefits than a non EMD domain. It'll be easy to rank if the completion is low with high competition it'll be somewhat difficult.

    Use an EMD by all means, but if your site doesn't have the quality and authority to back it up (most niche sites made by would-be Internet Marketers do not) it will be useless.
