Buying domain with PR advice

Hey all!

I'm looking into buying domains with PR, does anyone have any experience with this?

I heard if you buy an expired domain with PR as new, the PR will drop to N/A or 0 soon after you buy it. Will this happen if you buy a domain from say godaddy auctions?

Thanks in advance

Well first rule - Never buy domains because of their PR. Buy and analyze the links to the domain. Right now the market is full of domains that have no links but show PR and only because Google has not updated their toolbar in 7 months.

You can lose a lot of money not knowing what you are doing in that regard.

You are welcome. BTW when you are looking to buy PR4s and up look to namejet and snapnames more. Godaddy is not good for everything. Things get bid up quite a bit over there.
