SERP position tools & privacy

I'd like to start using a SERP position tool to be able to easily check the Google rankings of my websites. However, I'm afraid of that the owners of these tools will see my keywords if I start using such tools. And I don't want anyone to see some of my keywords, as if someone found out my secret keywords, (s)he could become just another competitor of me.

Are the owners of these tools able to see my keywords?

lolz. If you so concerned use a software that runs on your system like rank tracker. The owners don't have the time or interest to snoop your keywords

Owners don't have time for your keywords. They made a tool and they have clear idea about the keyword tracking. Best of luck.

Most of the sites are not usually store search terms. You can check through their policies and if you are too concerned about the privacy better use a desktop program.

Any site you submit your keywords to can record your keywords. With a site like: WhatsMySERP.com registered users have their keywords saved in a database on the server so users don't have to re-enter them and allows for historical tracking/graphing, so they are definitely saved.

I wouldn't worry about someone using your keywords. If the site is large enough, it will have 10's thousands of keywords from users all over the world. I doubt they have time to comb through them. I certainly don't and wouldn't.
