It just occurred to me how many times I accidentally hit an ad on my android. Do any of you think touch screens boost pay-per-click ad revenue simply because the screens are small and people have bad aim?

And how many times did you actually used that service which you accidentaly clicked?

I don't think the same yes it may increase clicks but do they convert ? NO

Google has many ways of detecting accidental clicks.

Gold mine? More like a coal mine.

I'm not talking about conversions at all. Pay-per-click is just what it implies: if someone clicks on a Google Adsense ad appearing on my website (intentionally or not) the advertiser pays Google and I get a commission.

I usually exclude mobile apps and the like from my campaigns, they are garbage clicks for most cases.

For PPC? Almost certainly not, your paying for clicks that aren't converting. For Views based advertising, I could see a minimal effect.
