I was searching some projects on freelancer.com . There i saw one project where employer was asking for guaranteed top 10 position in google and it should stay there for 3 months.

Last, i heard anyone who says we guarantee top 10 results shouldn't be trusted. But, i see lot of people bidding. Can someone tell me, if these seo specialists know something better than wf members?

    No one can guarantee results (technically), but for example 99.9% of the time the rankings I go after I get.

    So I'm sure this is the case with the people bidding.

    Based on their past experience they're pretty confident in their abilities.

      This. Normally if you handle your On-Page SEO correctly, build high quality manual backlinks, and post high quality, revelant content, you can be pretty confident that you will rank, if you have prior experience ranking other niche sites in the past.

        SEO CAN be guaranteed. Its just has to be full SEO where the SEO provider does the keyword research as well. If you have a traffic target then the SEO can match the traffic with relevant terms.

        However most people at WF tell the SEO what they want to rank for and the customer quite often has no idea about competition and difficulty for a keyword.

    There was a fellow here on WF who ran a WSO for a long time offering guaranteed top ten rankings. He used a blog network to fulfill the offer with. I don't think he refunded any if any payments.

    A lot of SEO services will 'guarantee' a top ranking but won't actually give you a time frame for that ranking. They just say "you will get there eventually, but SEO takes time so who knows how long it will take" which effectively nulls any refund policy they may have hinted at, because they can always just say you'll get there 'eventually'.

    First of all have my full respect to all seniors and friends at warrior forums and no offence please.. but...

    If anybody says that he have direct contact with Big G's employee and can rank you or give you the secret math to get ranks that too may be fake, since Big G shall be more smart to keep this all private and secured.

    Now how somebody can provide top 10 ranks guaranteed... I dont think but one thing is possible. If someone want to have top 10 penalty guarantee that is possible.. in today's negative seo market..

    So anybody whoever having confusions with such ads etc shall be aware that nobody nobody can guarantee any ranks... we are seo people we can just try our level best rest god knows or Big G knows...

    I work mainly with clients who want to rank for a keyword in a specific area. When I started out I wouldn't make guarantees...but by this point I can guarantee a first page ranking after I take a look at the keywords. Normally I can get first page within 3 months max for local keywords, usually much sooner. But just to cover my but I never guarantee first by rankings BY a specific date. And its worked out well for me.

      You guys have to leave the forums to get your brains clear, seo is not only ranking its getting relevant traffic and converting it. The more you obsesse on ranking number one of google or any other search engine you are bound to fail.
      Create kick ass content , and marketing the shit out of it.

    OP, you:

    1. Found a project on Freelancer where someone was asking for "guaranteed" Top 10 results on Google
    2. Found lots of freelancers applying for the job
    3. Heard that results can't be guaranteed, but now you're confused and think maybe they CAN?

    Does that about sum it up?

    Look, I can post a job on Freelancer asking for someone to create me (and guarantee) a social networking site like FB, get me 10M users, and $10M in revenue per month.

    Freelancers can apply for the job and guarantee me whatever they'd like, offering their services for $100, $200, $500, etc.

    IMO, the job creator on Freelance doesn't know what he's doing and plenty of freelancers are applying to take advantage of that. The entire thing is likely destined for failure.

    The fact that this job posting on Freelancer is convincing to you tells me you probably shouldn't be buying any SEO packages or info products for the foreseeable future...

      I think what they really mean is you don't have to pay if they don't deliver the result, or they give you money back guarantee if you pay upfront. I don't think anyone can give 100% guarantee on the result because it depends on many things.

      I'm also selling this kind of service but usually for a "guaranteed results" service I will only accept keywords with 300,000 direct competitors or less, also the website is not being penalized and in a good condition. Usually we also make a deal about the time limit before starting the project.

      I'd say if you have time and you know SEO you better do it yourself, mostly people buy my service because they have multiple websites to rank so they don't have time, or simply because they don't have any clue about SEO.

        If you are using the number of ''direct competitors'' to analyze your competition then it must be really accurate, really. :rolleyes:

        About the site not being penalized I'm pretty sure that if you backlink them like you did on your own website Overview: http://rankapex.com/ on Ahrefs | Awesome Screenshot they will have a very short span of life.

        +1 For the Kevin's posts, whoever isn't a complete retard SEO wonna be will be able to offer a guarantee on their work and an accurate ETA to get on page one, everything else is total BS as always. I never ever took someone's money without providing the promised results, and if I failed for some reason they got their money back, if you aren't able to make reasonable prediction/analyze in terms of ranking then you'd better move on something else.

        To the OP , 95% of people on freelancer are simply offering a more expensive fiverr crap solutions , stop searching cheap solution and get real.

    Has he specified the keyword(s) that he wants to rank for? If so, you really can't guarantee that. If he wants the service provider to find keywords within the niche, then you can find a couple dozen with low competition and try to rank for all of them. I can usually rank for at the very least 30% of the keywords that I target on a given project.

      If you can't guarantee delivery within a reasonable margin of what your customer is paying for, and expects to be delivered.

      Then do the world a favor, and don't take their money. Don't make bids for jobs they offer, Don't lie to them about being something your not "SEO Expert".

      Just gtfo of the SEO business, and take that dog with you. You are playing with peoples livings, businesses, and websites, with every button you click.

      The words maybe, might, or probably, should not be in an "Experts" vocabulary when dealing with any client.

    I think many of freelance in freelancer.com can't guarantee 100% complete on SEO job but if job is not complete you still must pay. Anyway you may refund some money back.
    In my opinion I think SEO can't guarantee 100% because it has many various way to do depend on various factor.

    In terms of SEO there is no difference between seo specialist and wf members because in reality we are all learning here. There is no guaranteed results but seo's can determine the closest ranking as possible depending on their experience, abilities and strategies. In my experience it took 2 to 3 months above to take top 1 in rankings and now I need to maintain this rankings because of the competition and climate change in Google.
