Best way to track websites progress?

So far I have just been using a mixture of google analytics and SEMrush. SEMrush is good but I have to wait a whole month to see any updates.

So just curious. What do you use to track your websites progress?

    Well for my tracking, I use :-
    Keywords rankings - Rank Tracker
    Backlinks - Backlink Monitor 3
    Traffic - Google Analytics
    Conversion rates - KissMetrics
    Event tracking (for those who don't know what event tracking is. here's a link) - MixPanel

      Good list, but can you be more specific with the first 2? When I search for "Rank Tracker" and "Backlink Monitor 3" I get many different possibilities.

    I used Google analytics for one property which works pretty well. I’m not sure what answers your are looking for but in general I would be careful interpreting data from multiple different platforms. Sometimes doing that can be misleading because different software collects data differently.

    You really can’t go wrong with Google Analytics. Its free which is great and highly customizable. Plus there is no shortage of literature on the web to help you work with it.
