Does Anyone Here Use UAW To Build Backlinks

Hi everyone. I've been tossing around the idea of using UAW (Unique Article Wizard) to build backlinks, and hopefully drive some direct traffic as well. However, the monthly cost is fairly expensive so I was hoping to gather some anecdotal evidence from forum members to determine if their service is worth the money. I've read some online reviews that seem positive, but every review seems to include an affiliate link to sign up for UAW so their objectivity is obviously a big question mark.

Can anyone here share their experience using the service? Did you see a jump in the SERPs for your targeted keyword(s)? Did you get some direct traffic that resulted in sales, or increased Adsense revenue? Any information would be much appreciated.

From what you know about this, would you say this is an automated link building system?
If yes, I won't tell you not to do it, but I will tell you to be very careful.

I was a member of UAW for a while and stopped the membership because it took quite a long time to see any results from the links in the articles that are submitted to Article Directories.

Also, not only do you have a monthly membership to pay for at UAW, you also have to write articles or outsource the writing in order to use to system.

If you're looking for immediate results, you might have to look into other options for link building.

I agree with eltee. I was also a member but had to stop since I was not getting desired result. And to be frank with you, I regret joining. You may not belive it but UAW could not get my sites indexed for more than 6 months of membership and several articles to lots of sites. I have change my mind about such emmbership sites. I have decided to submit my articles to some high PR sites that is constantly visited by google (something missing in UAW as many of them are bad) and gives me good traffic. Please, take my advice. Don't join! Search for another better service that can get you some regular links. i am rsearching article marketing automation for now but i will wait till i get good reviews for it as i don;t want to make any mistake again and part with my hard earned money.

Re happyguy: If your site doesn't get indexed for 6 months then you had other problems and it is not UAWs fault. I get new sites listed within days.

UAW works but you must know how to use it properly, like any tool out there. These are tools, means you must use them correctly to have success. They won't do the work for you, they just help you to get work done.

While I can't know what went wrong at your end, here are some basics:

    1) If your UAW articles don't target long tail keywords in the article title, body and resource box properly, your submission is pretty much wasted

    2) If your landing page doesn't reflect these keywords as well, you are missing out on the biggest SEO benefit of article submissions

    3) Most make the mistake and believe a few submissions make a difference already. Article marketing is a highly competitive business, means you must submit at least 30-100 articles before you can make an analysis that has statistical relevance.

Thanks very much for the replies. UAW is something I am considering to supplement my backlinking, so it wouldn't be an "all eggs in one basket" strategy. However, it certainly seems like an expensive supplement. I guess I'll sit on the fence a little longer and see if I can gather more evidence before I make up my mind

I will be looking for beta testers shortly for my new one way link building system / network. It's not an automated system as far as generating links for you but you will be able to obtain relevant links with just a few clicks of a mouse.

There are though some conditions. If you'd like a free account then feel free to pm me your email and I'll email you some details.

I am also in the process of launching a membership site for building massive links for members. You can visit my signature link site and get yourself in the notification list. The best part is that I plan to have a free membership as well as a paid one. With the free one too you can expect about 2000+ backlinks a month. The link building will work on article submission basis and I cannot reveal all details here.

If you are not seeing results quick enough then I suggest doing at least 2 submissions a week. I mean, sending out to all the directories in one go type submissions.

Does it work? Yep, but many will tell you not to because there is this magical, mystical place called the sandbox that you will be trapped in if you do so. At that submission rate whilst targeting various long tail keywords you will be extremely surprised.

Thing is, I GUARANTEE you, that many will come after this post and warn you not to, or put the fear in you that something bad will happen. Try and maintain the velocity as and when you can and you will see ;-)

UAW is good for building backlinks and syndicating articles. It's not meant to be an indexing tool and backlinks of any kind don't show up quickly when you search for them.

My experience in reading threads here about UAW is that most who answer "used it" for a very few submissions for a month or two - and others have never used it at all.

When I originally used UAW I spent the better part of a day learning the ins and outs and "best ways" of the system. I use quality articles - and do the rewrites myself.

It's a tool that is good when used correctly - and a waste of time and money if not used well.

I have no idea what you are asking (maybe it's me) - but you don't edit UAW articles - they are copyrighted material belonging to the authors.

If you go to your wp-admin for your blog you can go to your post and edit them. You can see the articles that were posted with UAW under "post". If you go to any of the UAW articles in the post section and scroll down when you choose the option to edit one of your post you will see:
          send trackbacks to:
          custom fields
          Add new custom field options.......
          Allow comments.
Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page,
All in one seo pack etc., and there is a section to add the category for the article based on your selected keywords.

Should these values remain empty or will filling these in help with getting Back links? I don't want to edit the actual article, I just want to know if values should be set in these areas?

vsmith, this thread is about paid UAW subscribers and if it is worth it to invest in the UAW service. It is not about receiving UAW content to your blog.

That said, to piggyback off of what Kay, Brad and Gunter expressed, using a service like UAW boils down to the user utilizing the service properly. Also, understanding that if you are a microwave mentality IMer, UAW is definitely not for you!

As a UAW subscriber since 2009, I can tell you that the service works as advertised. Any time I've listened to people who claim that it didn't work for them, upon further review, it always turned out to be user error.

I understand and appreciate your reply. But let's not focus on my question of not receiving back-links for the moment. If being a paid member is the only problem then I will subscribe. I've been using UAW for several months now and once you figure out how to use it properly, it is a VERY VERY powerful tool that can help you increase your rankings.

I've seen many of my sites increase in SERPS. The great thing is that the articles you submit are at least partially if not totally relevant to your niche which is always good.

In addition, although it takes a few hours to setup a submission, you can either drip feed these out to look more natural or you can submit hundreds if not thousands in one go...totally your prerogative.

If used in conjunction with other marketing efforts such as SBing, Blog Commenting and all the usual suspects, it can be very effective.

Its not cheap but definitely worth the money!

I tried both ends of UAW.

I joined, wrote quality articles with keyword backlinks. The results were very dissapointing. For example, for one of my sites, UAW said it had sent articles out over 3000 times (ie. 6 articles, more than 500 times each), but looking at the number of backlinks I had 2 months later, it was only 124. I know Google doesn't list all your backlinks, but still it gives you some indication. I didn't see much traffic increase fom using it.

I am currently using FreeTrafficSystem, which is at least free, and 30 real blogs it sends to might well get better results than 500 of the type that UAW sends out to. On the other hand, I've heard people say they didn't get many good backlinks from FTS either. I don't know enough to say for sure yet how good they are.

Using the other end of UAW . . . recieving free articles for my blogs . . . a lot of their content is terrible, most of it in the tottally wrong categories, and most of the tags are wrong too. So not great . . . needs a lot of editing to use. By comparison, FTS content is far better.

I am not experienced enough to give you real definitive answers on these, but those are my experiences anyway!

Except you can really "edit" because the articles are copyrighted!

You make a good point - many who use UAW are too lazy to write good articles or use spinners that provide crap.

I've found UAW best for real topics where there is "meat and substance" to the articles. Scheduled submissions over time get the best results. I have no idea how UAW works in tiny niches or in IM niches as I've used UAW for professional niches (legal, financial, consumer product lines, vet, medical, etc) and the results in those niches has been very good.

If I were publishing sites about 4 slice toasters or 2 bit boots, I wouldn't bother with UAW myself
