Sorry, if this is in the wrong forum.
--------------------------------------
I have a new site
The problem is that I couldn't get .com so I took .es.

Is it still possible for my site to get in google.com?

Yes, but it may well not rank there quite as well/easily as an international TLD. Having it hosted in the US will help a little, though (according to Matt Cutts). But this is actually the place to discuss it: Adsense / PPC / SEO Discussion Forum

I like your domain-name very much; hope it works out well for you.

  • Well, we were able to put a popular argument to rest by ranking one of our sites that is not only a .info, but also contains a hyphen, on the first page and top spot of google for its main search term. So I hope you can do the same for your .es. Good luck. Or should I say: Veel geluk!

If you put a lot of work into it you can make any extension work but in the future stick with .com.
