    You can only check DA or PA when you are buying links, otherwise there is no need to check DA or PA if you are taking help of relevant sites by searching in Google, for example, forums, blogs, social sites, web 2.0 sites etc.. of course, you can check page rank and higher is better.

    Also, do not forget that if you could get a backlink from RELATED website/blog, it would be much better... And also don't forget keyword density -> use different keywords

    Mozrank 20 up, Citations Flow 20 up, Trust Flow 20 up.

    This should give you some pretty good link juice. Even better if the page is high PR + relevant.

    The answer to your question would have to be an excellent backlink profile is the one that appears natural and really diversified. Since Google is making a lot of changes in their "algorithm", a campaign will be more protected if the backlink profile is more natural and diversified. In addition, it will provide more benefits in the long run including, of course, more traffic.
