I've been doing a lot of keyword research lately and I've found a couple of promising ones with little competition ( no h1 tag, no title, no description etc ) but many of the keywords i've found has a lot of banklinks, specifically BLP. How can i find out whether these are valuable backlinks?

does backlink relevancy matter a lot? i.e if my keyword is "budget sunglasses" and my competitions backlinks mostly contain the phrase "cheap sunglasses" will i have a hard time outranking them?

Lucky for you a simple test search found no lazy Google synonym substitution of cheap for budget, I didn't look but assume Cheap Glasses gets 10x the search volume.

Google's algorithm factors in synonyms and lsi as well. So to your question: yes.

Unless the anchor texts is way off like budget sunglasses vs cheap pillows
