Hi Warriors,

Just to tell you an important information. It is just so easy to rank on yahoo other than on google. I do not know but I think algo used by google and yahoo are entirely relly different.

DO you think warriors that we can make money ranking sites on yahoo?

Regards,
Trav

It is easier to rank in Yahoo than Google.

Basically, just do the same things that you would do to rank in Google, but yahoo wont penalize you like Google will.

So if you get a few things wrong, you still get Bing and Yahoo traffic, but if you do a few things wrong, you get screwed at Google.

Also i found that its actually easier to rank faster in Google. Normally Bing and Yahoo lag a bit behind, but once you are ranked, its fairly consistent.

    My experience anyway.

Yes, ranking for Yahoo can be easy but Google would penalize your site...

So you should base Google for better result from traffic and earning, whatever ranking you get in Yahoo is bonus for your site.

It depends on your Keywords, Product and goal.

People in U.S have a better advantage of using Yahoo because they have consistently beat Google when it comes to traffic.

I build lots of micro sites, and they always end up ranking on first page of yahoo way before they are ranking on Google. So yes in my experience.

I think someone has been lying to you. Yahoo has not beaten Google in search traffic in the U.S. since about 1999.

I would rank near enough the same for these two.

Yahoo is pretty easy for us to rank our websites and blogs than Google. Due to the brand new algorithm being launched by Google, things are getting more difficult to rank your websites or blogs there, and they change it anytime they want.

There are far too many variables to tell for sure.

The algorithms are so complex now adays I don't think anyone can tell for sure.

And if someone wants to prove me wrong...

Maybe you can map out the algorithm and we can compare notes?

    Lol.

    Seriously though...

I have noticed that I rank easier in Yahoo than in Google.

But... There are so many variables.

It's difficult to determine for sure.

(How much traffic are you getting from each search engine? That's the better question to ask).

    Hope this helps. Someone.
