Still making money with AdSense?

I'd like to know what works now for getting AdSense sites ranked high in Google, or what's your model with this business...

As we've seen how EMD update kit most of the made for adsense sites, and how hard it is nowadays to keep an old/new site/page at the top...

I've given up adsense sites many years ago, and focused on product review sites

If anybody is having success with AdSense, let's hear how they're doing it...

    There's no magic... get traffic and test. When you want to make more money do more of those things.

    Doesn't matter how you monetize the page, it's the same SEO.

    I'm lucky to make $75-$100 month from adsense. Though most of it comes through youtube videos. I make review videos for tech, put them up on youtube and embed them into my site. Youtube will get about 10000 views and the site may get 100

    there has to be a better way.

      I think Adsense is the easiest way to make money online,basically you need to learn SEO to increase your traffic.

      SEO = Traffic = $$
      GOOD SEO = more Traffic = more $$

      Most people don't make money with adsense just because they don't have patience...

    I had success a while back, using longtail keywords. Moved on to bigger things since then but that's my foolproof way of doing things if you put in the effort.

    I just finished building 18 sites for adsense. As they have come on line I've been reasonably pleased with the performance. (managing expectations is key) 12 of them have gotten clicks. I've just put 3 up this weekend so I feel okay about my results.
    Their conversion rate seems good, so now I have to drive some traffic to them.

    I think for a long term strategy adsense is going to prove to be too much work. But for now I am enjoying the process and starting to learn seo.

    I still use Adsense on some of my sites that receive larges amount of traffic. It's still profitable, but it isn't my main source of income. It comes after affiliate marketing and my list in terms of daily earnings, but is still good for providing an extra bit of income. It's no where near as profitable as affiliate marketing/CPA, but still has it's purpose in internet marketing.

    Need patience and a solid SEO plan. More traffic = more money.

    I think i saw a few sites on flippa recently that the owners claimed to have 20k+ monthly visitors and made around $2k-$4k a month from adsense.
